Family History Detective Privacy Policy

1. Personal information collected

   We collect information:

   • When you fill out the contact form with your name, e-mail, and information, Family History Detective uses this solely to approach you regarding a possible project.

2. Uses of personal information

   We use the information you provide to:

   • Design a research plan. FHD will use the information to develop a research plan to meet your goals. We then contact you to present you with this information. We will contact you on a one time basis to present you with the plan. If we do not receive a response, there will be no further attempts to contact you.

   We do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide personally identifiable information to third parties

3. Security

   • Personal information you provide will be secured in accordance with industry standards and technology. Since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to FHD. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, copied, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. However, it is highly unlikely that information from the contact form will be accessed by any third party individual.
